🩺 We believe it is essential for our team members to possess the knowledge and skills to provide immediate first aid to colleagues in need. In any emergency situation, those first crucial minutes can truly make a world of difference.

Today, more than ever, having a comprehensive understanding of how to respond effectively in extreme situations is vital. Whether it is during challenging times like full-scale wars or in any unforeseen circumstances, we want all of our employees to feel empowered to take action and potentially save lives.

Throughout the course, the instructor Dr. Fedorovych Hanna Vasylivna delivered insightful lectures and engaging simulations, allowing our participants to delve into real-life scenarios. Hanna’s expertise and passion for teaching were truly inspiring as she shared invaluable knowledge on proper behavioral protocols, first aid techniques, and practical application with real-time exercises alongside your supportive colleagues.

Nine participants showcased their exceptional dedication and commitment by successfully completing the course. As a testament to their accomplishment, they have been awarded internationally recognized certificates of completion. As part of our ongoing commitment to employees well-being, we want to announce that we have already begun planning for future training courses crucial pre-medical assistance skilled of our certified team memebrs.

Remember, the ability to administer first aid is a skill that transcends professional boundaries.

On Sunday, August 21, the Barbus company in cooperation with the co-organizers held a Best Friend Day charity event in Kyiv📍
💁🏻‍♂️The event had two ambitious goals:
👉🏼 to collect UAH 200,000
👉🏼 to find new homes for 70 animals affected by the war
The event was organized with help of two other companies – participants, together with whom we organized a charity fair for animals, part of the funds from which also went to the charity collection of the event.
Such an event was organized for the first time, and during this day we were able to find a home for 12 out of 70 cats and dogs from the Khatul Madan and KZO Bastet shelters, as well as collect 43,000 of the planned 200,000 hryvnias in donations.
We had a great time together with the visitors and their pets and did a good deed 😊
We don’t stop helping and continue to find a home and raise funds to help furry pets affected by the war 🐾

Nataliia Gavrasieva, the veterinary channel development manager of our company Barbus has attended the 27th International Veterinary Conference FECAVA together with more than 50 veterinarians from all over Ukraine.
These 4 days were full of new insights, long-awaited meetings and full support from veterinarians all around the globe. Natalia has joined her colleagues at Ukrainian stands and has also supported the stand of our partner Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Our manager also visited the veterinary clinic in Prague and exchanged the latest practices and experiences with her Czech colleagues.

We truly thank the organizers of FECAVA and Hill’s Pet Nutrition for the opportunity to develop professionally and for their unlimited support of Ukrainian colleagues 💛💙

Ukrainians are proving their humanity once again and continue to care about those who in need.

For more than 2 months of the war, “Київський Міський Будинок Природи” (Local House of Nature in Kyiv) continues to take care of their underwater inhabitants
